Round 2 of the CAMS NSW Supersprint was another success for "Presto" and the Miami Ice Vortx. Wakefield Park's wintry conditions kept everyone on their toes, with cold winds and dark clouds circling the track for most of the day. Luckily it remained dry and Presto's 63.6sec lap had him at the top of the charts, with John Vader's EVO9 next on a 66.7sec followed by the PRB Clubman of John Bugh at 67.4sec.

But it was Damien Mulally's debut run in the Vortx which had people talking. Sharing with Presto, Damien's first drive of the car was a few familiarization laps around the pit area. His 67.8sec lap was enough to secure 7th outright and third quickest Clubman. That's a great effort in only nine laps. May 18th is Round 3 of the championship at Sydney's high speed Eastern Creek , where the MNR - Yamaha combination will get a chance to stretch their legs.
