You can't ask for a better start to the season than with a win!  Once again the Vortx has topped the charts, this time at Oran Park contesting Round 1 of the CAMS NSW Supersprint Championship.

Heavy overnight rain may have washed the track down, but it also meant delays as tyre barriers were repaired. On a dry "green" track "Presto" was quickest right out of the box maintaining a healthy gap to Dean Evans in the Lotus 211, taking out overall honours with a 1:14.5. Unfortunately the Lotus was later excluded from the event, but had been running in the high 1:16's. If nothing else it was a great demonstration of two manufacturer's trackday models going head to head on the same day, MNR vs Lotus. With almost half the engine capacity, and at less than half the price, the Vortx doesn't just win on pace.
